FAQ – Photo Session in Saint-Tropez

About the photo sessions

An interview where I answer the questions I’m most often asked.

Who are you?

I am a professional photographer with over 14 years of experience, based in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.

I offer photo sessions in Saint-Tropez for couples, families, maternity, children, weddings and events.

What I seek is not just to create “beautiful photos”.

It’s to tell your story through images that truly mean something.

What is your vision of photography?

Photography is a language that doesn’t lie.

It’s the meeting point between a gaze, a sensitivity… and what is truly happening in front of me.

My expertise, combined with intuition and a deep understanding of human connection, allows me to go beyond the surface.

To capture what is not always visible at first glance.

This is the mindset behind my method:

L.I.G.H.T. ®

Light Is Grace Held in Time

An approach designed to offer you a fluid, natural… deeply human experience.

L — Link

Creating a genuine connection. Observing, feeling, understanding who you are.

I — Immersion

Making you feel at ease. Letting you forget the camera.

G — Gentle guidance

Subtly guiding… and allowing authenticity to unfold.

H — Harmony

Working with light, movement, atmosphere and textures.

T — Transmission

Creating images that stand the test of time.

Memories for today. A legacy for tomorrow.

What is your style?

Natural. Spontaneous. Alive.

I don’t make you pose.

I don’t ask you to smile.

I don’t correct what makes you unique.

I create a space…and let life unfold.

Do you guide people during the session?

Just enough.

I guide you, help you feel comfortable, give direction… then I let you breathe.

A successful session is not about instructions.

It’s about trust.

Do you only work in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez?

Yes, mainly. Although I occasionally accept a few exceptions.

I was born here.

I know this area intimately: its light, its rhythm, its contrasts…

But also what cannot be seen at first glance.

I am deeply connected to its history and traditions.

And I love sharing a different perspective of it.

Beyond clichés.

Being passionate changes everything.

Are locations important?

Yes. They are essential.

Light, environment, timing…

they define the soul of your images.

A photo session outdoors by the sea requires a strong understanding of light.

I guide you from the very beginning to choose a location that feels right,

aligned with your project… and with you.

Do you work alone or with a team?

I work alone.

This allows for a more discreet, fluid… and intimate experience.

How many photos will we receive?

Each image is selected with care.

On average, a session results in 100 to 200 photos, depending on the collection.

For the Iconic collection, the gallery is more extensive, with up to 500 images.

I never deliver unedited images.

Each photo is carefully edited and presented in a private online gallery.

You will only see the best.

Do you retouch the photos?

I do not alter bodies.

I do not modify faces.

I work on light, colors, contrast and black & white.

My goal is to enhance without altering.

If you are looking for heavily edited or artificial images,

I may not be the right photographer for you.

What happens after the session?

After the session, the most important part begins.

Secure backup.

Careful artistic selection.

Meticulous editing, true to my signature.

Then your images are delivered in a private online gallery,

where you can select and share them with your loved ones.

Each image is chosen.

Nothing is left to chance.

What are the delivery times?

It depends on the season and workload.

Your gallery is usually delivered within 1 week to 1 month.

If an image needs more time, I take it.

Every detail matters.

Because some images deserve time.

I always prioritize quality over speed.

Do you offer albums or prints?

Yes, of course.

I offer high-end albums designed to last.

As well as:

  • high-resolution digital files
  • professional prints
  • premium supports such as plexiglass or dibond

Digital has its limits.

Some images deserve more than a screen.

A beautiful medium gives them the place they deserve.

What is the price of a session?

Each session is unique.

Pricing depends on:

  • the duration
  • the number of people
  • the number of images
  • the chosen products

I invite you to explore the collections and share your project with me.

How far in advance should we book?

As early as possible.

Especially during high season.

The best time slots go quickly…

and light cannot be booked last minute.

If you already have a date in mind,

the easiest way is to contact me directly to check availability.

Why is payment required before or on the day of the session?

Because a session is not just about “taking photos”.

It includes preparation, travel, equipment, file security…

and most importantly, the work after.

Payment in advance ensures a smooth organization

and mutual commitment.

Do you recommend other photographers if needed?

Always.

If I’m not available or if the project doesn’t align with my approach,

I will gladly recommend a trusted photographer in the Saint-Tropez area.

One last thing to know

I don’t take on every request.

A session is not just a photoshoot.

It’s a connection.

And for it to work, it has to feel right on both sides.

If my approach resonates with you, I invite you to tell me about your project.
