To get legally married here, certain legal and administrative requirements apply:

Yes, we locals do cringe when people shorten our beloved village’s name.
We’re proud of our heritage.
Every May, Saint-Tropez comes alive for La Bravade, a 3-day celebration honoring our patron saint, Saint Torpes.
The town turns red and white, filled with processions, traditional costumes, fireworks, music, and parades.
AD USQUE FIDELIS
- Our motto: "Ad Usque Fidelis " ("Faithful until the end.")
- Our colors: Red and white, inspired by the Republic of Genoa.
- Our story: Saint Torpes, a Roman officer converted by Saint Paul, was executed in 68 AD.
His body, placed in a boat with a rooster and a dog, washed ashore here, giving birth to the name of our village.
