Family Photographer in Saint-Tropez

For many people, a family photo looks like this.

Everyone is together. Everyone looks at the camera. Everyone smiles.

As a family photographer in Saint-Tropez, I love creating these timeless portraits too. They become part of your family's story and grow more precious with every passing year.

Some children prefer to stay in their parents' arms for a few minutes before saying hello.

Others run straight toward me, eager to tell me about their day or proudly introduce me to their favourite teddy bear, a tiny shell they found on the beach, or whatever little treasure they've tucked away in their pocket.

Very often, those little treasures end up with a portrait of their own. After all, they're part of the story too.

I love these first few minutes.

They allow us to get to know each other naturally, without any pressure. That's why I always arrive a little early.

Before we begin, I often tell the children something that surprises them:

"You don't have to smile. You don't even have to look at me. The only thing that matters is that you enjoy this moment with your family."

And from that moment on, everything changes.

Those little moments are what make every session unique and allow me to tell a story that truly feels like yours.

Very quickly, the children forget about the camera.

Their parents do too.

And almost every time, as we're about to say goodbye, I hear the very same words:

"Already? Is it over?"

That's when I know we've shared far more than just a photoshoot.

Getting to know your family is, to me, the very first step toward creating meaningful photographs.

Your children's personalities, their little habits, the way you interact with one another, what makes you laugh, what makes your family unique...

All these details shape the way I photograph you.

By the time we finally meet, I already know the first chapters of your story, thanks to the time you've taken to complete my questionnaire.

All that's left is to tell it through photographs.

One day, your children won't look back at these photographs to see whether their hair was perfectly in place.

They'll remember the way you looked at them.

The way you held them.

The way you laughed together.

In short, they'll remember a little piece of their story.
